What animates us

Our six founding values

Rooted in the Gospel and the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition, they guide each of our actions and inspire our community life.

🌿

Authenticity

Living our faith without masks, in the coherence between what we confess and how we live. Becoming sincere disciples of Christ, transparent before God and one another.

"Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth." 1 John 3:18
🌱

Humility

Recognizing that we learn from one another, that we depend on grace, and that no one alone possesses the whole truth.

"Walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
🕊️

Acceptance

Opening our hearts and communities to anyone — especially the vulnerable, the stranger, the marginalized. After the example of Jesus, who never rejected those who drew near to him.

"Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." Romans 15:7
⚖️

Justice

Defending the dignity of each person, created in the image of God. Concretely engaging for social and fraternal justice, especially for those whom society forgets.

"Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream." Amos 5:24
🤝

Collaboration

The mission of God is lived together. We build bridges between our churches, with MC Canada, with our partners, and with the communities around us. The Body of Christ is never alone.

"The body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body." 1 Corinthians 12:12
✌️

Peace

Heirs of the Anabaptist tradition of peace, we refuse violence and actively work for reconciliation. The peace of Christ is both our vocation and our witness to the world.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." Matthew 5:9
