YABs Fellowship Week 2026: Global Prayer Requests

For the 2026 Young Anabaptist Believers (YABs) Fellowship Week, Mennonite World Conference gathered prayer requests from Anabaptist communities across six continents. These intentions reflect the wide range of realities facing churches around the world.

Across Africa, communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, Angola, Malawi, Nigeria and Uganda ask for strengthened faith, protection from division and fear, economic stability, and comfort for those affected by the April floods in Benguela and Luanda. They also pray for wise leadership and renewed spiritual growth in the church.

In Asia, believers in India, Indonesia, Nepal and the Philippines request protection for those facing persecution and opposition, political stability, and wisdom for governments. There are also prayers for the planting of new Christ-centred churches and the raising up of effective leaders for ministry and discipleship.

In Europe, Germany and France express a longing for deeper hunger for God's Word, greater unity within the church, a spirit of hospitality toward refugees, and young people who move from self-focus toward active service and engagement in church life.

Across Latin America (Belize, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica, El Salvador) and North America, prayers rise for spiritual revival, wisdom for elected officials, peace and an end to crime, and for Canadian communities affected by wildfires — asking for healing, rebuilding, and sustained support long after the disaster.
