Michel Monette President & Executive Minister

Pastor Michel Monette

A Christian leader and organizational strategist recognized for his human, unifying approach, deeply rooted in the values of the Gospel. For more than 35 years, he has accompanied organizations, leaders, and communities through contexts of development, transformation, and growth, with a focus on reconciliation, collaboration, and service.

From 2016 to 2025, he served as Regional Minister Catalyst with MCEC, mobilizing the Anabaptist community across the province of Quebec and the Ottawa region. In this role, he supported churches, encouraged leaders, and helped build bridges between French-speaking and English-speaking Christian communities, with a vision centred on unity, accompaniment, and mission.

Today, through RADAR, Michel pursues this same vision: to gather, embrace, and support believers of Anabaptist heritage while developing spaces for dialogue, growth, and reconciliation. Passionate about authentic leadership and human development, he believes that a true leader is recognized by his capacity to serve, to listen, and to lift others up.

Pastor Ronald Alexandre

A Christian leader, entrepreneur, and community builder committed for several decades to the development of the French-speaking Church in Quebec. Recognized for his unifying leadership and his discipline, he puts his pastoral and entrepreneurial experience at the service of the spiritual, human, and organizational growth of the communities he accompanies.

Lead pastor of l'Église de Dieu Réparateur des Brèches, he has built a vibrant, multicultural, and intergenerational community where diverse cultures meet in one shared faith. Alongside his pastoral ministry, he has worked extensively with MCEC (Mennonite Church Eastern Canada) to support the planting and accompaniment of French-speaking churches — a partnership that directly paves the way for RADAR's current affiliation process with Mennonite Church Canada.

A founding member of RADAR and Treasurer of its interim Board of Directors, Ronald carries with conviction the vision of a French-speaking Anabaptist gathering rooted in acceptance, the formation of leaders, and reconciliation. His journey reflects a deep passion for the unity of the Church and service to people and communities.

Pastor Ruth Estimé Board Member & Pastoral Advisor

Pastor Ruth Estimé

A servant of Jesus Christ, called by God to pastoral ministry, Pastor Ruth Estimé is driven by a deep passion for the Gospel and the service of the Church. A native of Haiti, she arrived in Quebec at the age of eleven with her family. Convinced that God had led her to this land of acceptance for the fulfillment of a particular mission, she has devoted her life to building up the people of God and proclaiming the Gospel.

A nurse by profession, she holds a college diploma as well as a bachelor's degree in nursing sciences. Eager to deepen her theological understanding and ministerial commitment, she is currently completing a master's degree at the École théologique du Québec, affiliated with Université Laval. This institution was founded in partnership with the Association of Mennonite Brethren Churches of Quebec and the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Quebec.

For more than thirty years, she has faithfully carried out various ministries within the Church. Her path of service notably includes the roles of cantor, children's ministry leader, choir director, youth ministry president, Bible teacher, women's ministry coordinator, and preacher of the Gospel. She was recognized in pastoral ministry in 2023 at the Église de Dieu Sainteté de Montréal.

Wife and mother of four children, Pastor Ruth Estimé continues her ministry with dedication and humility. She also sits on RADAR's Board of Directors, where she helps promote a vision of the Church grounded in acceptance, the formation of committed leaders, and reconciliation. Her desire is to see the francophone Christian witness take root in faithfulness to the Gospel, service to others, and the unity of the body of Christ.

Pastor Onésiphore Kiota Board Member

Pastor Onésiphore Kiota

A native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Onésiphore Kiota holds a university degree in linguistics and a teaching qualification (agrégation) from the University of Lubumbashi. His multidisciplinary training — in peacebuilding, theology, and territorial development — has nurtured an integrated vision of education, reconciliation, and community development.

He furthered his training with certifications in peacebuilding and conflict transformation (Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation, Zambia) and in theology (Veritas College, United States), as well as several certifications in territorial development in Central Africa.

Over a professional career of more than two decades, he served as a secondary-school teacher in several institutions in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Burundi. Convinced of the transformative power of education, he founded two secondary schools — Institut Tanganika in Kabumbe and Institut Piluca in Mukwezi — in eastern Congo. Alongside this, he worked as a rural development facilitator, engaged in community mobilization and the implementation of integrated development projects.

His expertise in peacemaking also led him to serve in Zambia as a trainer in the "Messengers of Peace" program. Building on this experience, he co-founded the Peace Club in School initiative, a peace-education movement in schools that gradually spread across several countries in southern Africa. He also co-founded several development NGOs and integrated village committees that supported development projects in various communities of eastern DRC.

Answering the pastoral call, Onésiphore Kiota first served as an elder in his church, then was ordained to pastoral ministry. He is today a pastor at Centre Bethesda Church in Quebec City, where he continues his commitment to the community. He is married and the father of several children.
